Oil Pressure Sending Unit Help

Post by azazel_18_2 »

I have a 2000 Daewoo Nubira and have had ALOT of problems with it. Now I have an oil leak. I unplug the oil pressure sensor and oil begins to squirt out of it. I got one in and it was a whole $8. Now I just can't figure out how the hell to change it. HELP!!!!!

I figured it out. I will post right now to help someone else out someday.first off everything is in the way. Axle, trans, oil filter, splash shield, you name it. It takes a 15/16 wrench. It will be way to big to get it into the space we need it. I cut mine in half and it fit up in there with no problems. It shouldn't be very tight but if it is Just get a long wrench and place the open end again right before where you cut the old wrench off. Tap it with a hammer and viola it come right off. They realy did not design that worth a damn. I tried everything from ripping my alt out all the way to my axle and none of it helped. Just do as I did and it will go real easy. It made me a little sad to cut my brand new 15/16 wrench in half but it did the trick. Don't waste you money on a socket. I did and no way would that work. Way to close of quarters. Hope this helps some poor soul out.
