I did this today polished my throttle body took all day but worth the effort tell me what you think.

400 grit sandpaper then 800grit,then 1500 grit and last 2000 grit then the cutting compound and my little dremel machine works like a charm my fingers are so saw from sanding.

did it do anything as far as performance? i'm sure it did...but was it noticeable?

I havent installed it yet as im waiting to get the car back from the painters i bought a spare throttle body to play with and now i have polished it i want to get it on the car and see the diffrence ill let you know the outcome shortly.

I installed the Polished throttle body today and extremely happy with the results ive noticed dramitic change to what it was previous i felt more HP and better idling i recommend this mod.

i also did this. but not to the extent that john did his. i also noticed a small difference 8)

did u use any lubricantion while u was sanding? or only sanding is enough without any lubrication while the process?? no WD40 as an example?

I used a little dish liqid which worked fine i did use wd40 at one stage but it was a little to lubricated for me.

and when u used the dremel machine, it could reach the corners and small areas which is already hard to reach with fingers and sandpaper?

Thats correct i used some small buffers on the dremal and a few pointie ones which worked quite well.
