2001 lanos replacing head...looking for torque specs

Post by 71cuda2 »

Hi,

I have purchased, what looks like the same service manual
you have in the general area, which does not look like any
service manual I presently own, it looks like a parts manual to me...

where do I find the torque settings for the head bolts,
cam shaft bolts, and cam sprockets, (need to replace the cam seals)

thanks

I would like to get a real service manual, any thoughts???

thanks
ken

ps
this is my sons car...
rebuilding my 4.7l durango
was easier than this, and more
room to work with :)

Hey Ken,

A Daewoo Lanos Factory Service Manual is what you need. It's a huge (2 volume) set. Covers everything.

I got mine new off E-bay for under $50.00 (USD)
A dealer will charge a lot more.
Here is a link that sells service manuals. Don't know if they have Daewoos now but you should be able to find one on E-bay someplace.

p.s. 1999, 2000 and 2001 1.6 DOHC engines are all the same, I think some other years as well but I don't know which ones.
