Need help - 00' Nubira 2.0 Alternator replacement

I posted this in the engine section, but I thought maybe it would be more appropriate to post it here. I am trying to replace the alternator on a 00' Nubira Wagon with a 2.0L engine. The problem I'm having is removing the long bolt from the bottom of the alternator. The bolt is too long to pull out because it hits the passenger inner fender. So it will not clear the alternator, and I'm stuck right now Is there something else I need to do to remove it? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Any advice for Daewoo newbie Thanks in advance.

You have to unbolt the alternator's mounting bracking (beneath it), and remove it as an assembly.
