Do these transmissions have seperate controllers?

Do these transmissions have seperate controllers?

Does the automatic transmission in a 2000 Daewoo Nubira have a seperate computer that controls the shifting and such or does the ECM do it? If there is a seperate controller, are there any connections between the ECM and the controller or are they completely separated from eachother?
