Oil breather filters...

Post by mr_sikma »

Hey,

I have the 1.6 twin cam motor, and was looking at fitting the oil breather filters for more crankcase ventialtion.

Where exactly do they go and do i just block off where they are going to?

Thanks

I sugest just saving your money and getting a Oil Catch Tank. You have to replace the filters and the get oil everywhere.

how many breathers are there? and where are they located?

i would say the breather filters would be better than it going back into your intake system!

The idea of the oil catch can is to reduce oil vapour entering your inlet.

First thing you want to do is find a spot to mount the can, ensuring you have enough piping to hook everything up too. once you have done this we start the plumbing. which runs from the rocker cover to the oil catch can very simple project.
