Check light on, weak 12 volt signal too cam sensor.

My engine check light is on. I was told it was a weak 12 volt signal too the cam sensor. I checked the harness. Seems OK Any idea using a volt meter testing the input and output signals. The car drives fine. When the codes are cleared the check light still comes back showing the same code.

More info- at first the engine check light was coming on and off, car was driving kind of sluggish. I had it tested and told it was a weak cam sensor. I replaced the cam sensor car runs perfect with lots of power. But now the check light is on all the time with a weak 12 volt signal too the cam sensor.

sounds like a faulty cam sensor.
