can I pass the state inspection with a air bag light on????

The air bag light always on
and I have to send my car to inspect on auguest.
Can I pass state inspection with this light?
I do not care the air bag, just do not pop up in normal condition will be ok.

oklahoma doesn't have inspections but i don't think you can. what car do you have? i know in the lanos they had a recall on the airbags. or if anything find a daewoo service provider and see if they can find out what the problem is.

it is a 2000 daewoo lanos
I am in virginia
Can I just pull the bulb out?

you can but if their thorough with their job then when they turn the ignition they can see that the light doesn't come on at all. did you get the recall done on you car?

I check the daewoous.com, it looks like that my car already had the recall

virginia state inspection requirement does not metion the air bag. Maybe it is not too bad

if thats the case then call an inspection place and ask them what would happen if the airbag light was on. if they say it'll fail you then ask about if the light is just completely off. then just never go to them for it.

or hook the light to come on with another light, so when the car starts the light comes on but it goes off

I just disconnected the bulb from inside the dash and the airbag light never comes on.

When I get my car inspected, there are never any questions asked and they pass it every time.

North carolina is STRICT... I faild twice cause of some stickers and no a/c lights

. Just go to a cheap place and they wont really care. Its the nicer places that fail people. I got my truck inspected with out and exhaust at all.
