Need help with my grounding wires

Post by norbie »

I have new gold plated battery terminals to create new ground wires from my battery to car chassis etc.

I have read all the guides here but I have a problem.

At the moment the stock connector to the negative part of the battery is all taped together and has a ring on the end. I assume I would need to cut this off in order to get it into the new gold terminals. There isn't really enough slack though, and I don't want to have to extend the wires just so they can reach the battery.

Any ideas? :?

the battery wires should be zip tied to other wires if you cut some of the zip ties it might give you some extra slack.
