I got this lanos as a used car. and the timing failed due to a bad pulley.
After I pulled the cylinder head off, I found that the head gasket is not the OEM parts. Probably, the head was rebuild before.
My question is IF the head can be rebuilt again? does it hurt too much??
about rebuild the lanos cylinder head

yes, really suck
they did not change the pulley and tensioner.
even ,they did not adjust the tension of the belt(I guess they did not have the adjuster tool), So I think the belt is too tight and damaged the pulley finally.
this is my first car, befor I got it, I know nothing about car. This car looks good and has low mileage, so I bought it.
Now, I pulled the cylinder head off by my self like a mechanic and other all kinds of jobs in my back yard, which is a real tragedy.
This is supposed to be a call-back,I think, the timing system failed on every lanos before 60k mile. the manufactur should pay that.
