Well here i am with new springs and struts and shocks and i have the ass end done, i am stuck, i need the tool for the strut nut, to put it back on. An impact gun took the nut off but won't put it back on. What to do? The dealor told me to put vise grips on the shaft WTF i thought the shaft had to be smooth as hell to keep the fluid in. You need something to go on the nut and leave room to hold on to the shaft. Should I take a deep socket 1/2 drive and cut it short enough to see th top of the shaft then weld a lever on it??????????? please help vise grips sound harsh

Re: pickle
I just used a really large pipe wrench to tighten it back on. Make sure you use the new nuts that should've came with the struts.woodae wrote:Well here i am with new springs and struts and shocks and i have the ass end done, i am stuck, i need the tool for the strut nut, to put it back on.
