Changing throtle body and intake of a 1.5 sohc daewoo racer

Post by zingy »

I have a throttle based injection system in my racer i was thinking of putting a bigger throttle body witha bigger dia butterfly valve also a custom made intake pipe system with bigger pipes for free passage of air the problem that i am facing is that the fuel line in and out are attached with my throttle body and cant be removed so i was thinking if i buy a bigger throttle body i can remove the fuel lines off the old small butterfly body by cutting and then cutting the same piece out of the new and rewelding the old fuel lines with the attached injector in it on a new throotle body would it work????

also there is only one IAT sensor connected to the intake manifold i was thinking of making a new intake with bigger dia runners for free flow of air . IAT sensor can be bypassed by putting a 4.7 kohm variable resistor and manually setting it would the bigger dia pipes and bigger throttle body help in letting my engine breath even more better what power increases am i looking after this mod ???????
Also if anyone has got documentation regarding throttle body of a daewoo racer kindly help me out

cutting and welding the fuel lines doesn't sound like a good idea... the IAT mod sounds good and the bigger intake pipes will help the engine breath better for sure.
