Ignition Modules

Post by PoTsUrFrIeNd »

I have seen lanos's running around with upgraded ignition modules and/or coils I.E. MSD or something and I was wondering what of them were available that will fit the aveo, the only reason I think there might be any is due to the fact that the 1.6L in the aveo is the same as the one in the lanos.

Thanks for the input

for installing an MSD kit you need an adaptor, check the how to secton for making one yourself.

You won't really see any meaningful improvements if you are running an N/A engine. Maybe just a few HP. Aftermarket ignition systems are used mainly to control timing for a turbo or nitrous application. Woohoo (Domwoo) has a turbo so he needed the system.
