off with the bags and on with the eibach's

so it has come time to realize that the bags were not a good choice for the lanos.. yeah it looked cool slammed to the ground but the drivalbility sucked..

so far this is what i got..

2 new struts - 100$ ( replace the ones that were modified for the airbags)
set of eibach springs 100$
kyb gr2 80$

so far i think its going to be a good choice switching back to springs.. 280$ for a whole new suspension isnt bad at all i think anyways

seeing how my buddy with a baged 68 chevelle bought most of my parts from me for $200 and other parts are being sold here and there to people i know.. i think ill make out with a few extra doller to spend..

I can only imagine what it's like to do a suspension upgrade to a woo... My buddy on his car put some AGX and eibach springs and dang... we finally put it on the highest settings for least give in the struts... and it was amazing... damn thing hung onto the road like mad...

Hope your car is like that after the modification =) It's awesome.

well its alot different then the air bags.. with the air bags you could push on the front of the car and it wouldnt even move.. now with the eibachs it moves alot.. feels like more then stock.. but i dont know yet i havnt drivin it yet..

and for my poor finger
what happened was when i put the bags on the rear i had to cut the rear mounts off to make room for the airbags.. well i had to weld new ones on and today i was doing so and i tached up the mounts and iw as going to compress the spring with a jack under the rear axel to see if everything lined up.. and as i got the spring compressed i touched it for some unknown retarded reason and it broke loose and smaked my middle finger so hard that it spilt the skin right down to the bone on the palm side of nuke near the finger nail.. the pain was so great that it made my head tingle.. needless to day i still have my hole finger but it is about 2 times as big as the tother hand and has about 1/4 the movement

but alls good because i put a bandaid on it and went back to work

lol.. i would take a picture but i only have 2 hands and i cant take a picture of both fingers together showing the difference..

as for the pain.. i have hurt my self pretty damn bad before.. i have even been shot.. and nothing felt as bad as that did.. i think its broken though.. its starting to turn purple

Better get it looked at! I thought when you said that you meant that it cost you a lot of money, not that you nearly destroyed your finger.

If it's turning purple you better get to the E room, that means your not getting blood circulating properly, which you could loose your finger if not taken care of.
