well i know there are a few free ones but i don't think they are really worth a damn. anything like that on the internet would cost you some money.

Yeah, most of the free ones are very simplistic. You can take the ones where you pay, but that doesn't insure a proper testing situation. The best way is to get one of the real tests at the testing locations. They are valid ones and can be used as information when you apply for a job. This is the route I took and managed a 154 IQ.

IQ is a bunch of crap...it's meant for 12 year old kids...... a real test of brain power is based around a bell curve and gives you a "percentile"

Search for Mensa..... they are a group of super smart guys.... I've taken several of their tests.

I usually score in the 99th percentile for stuff like spacial recognition and I do ok at math but I really suck at english..... and many IQ tests are heavily weighted around english.... so my IQ is never as high as it should be.

I love the saying..... before I went to university I couldn't even spell Enginnerr... now I are one

Hehe... seriously flawed... I've been scoring about 160-165 on most of the free ones I've tried. :)

I used to be in advanced programs when I was a kid, but they got boring and I took on teaching myself and finding proper mentors on whatever subject I wanted to learn.

Served me well thus far, but really... What does it matter? If you don't know, ask someone. If nobody knows, figure it out. If you can't figure it out, put your helmet back on and try not to bump into anything.

things take longer that way... the way i see it all people are smart by default... it just depends on how well you use your brains, kinda like cars... every body got one but not all of then know how to drive so practically you got to learn how to use your brains rather than solving a problem.

my approach right now is to strip down all the unnecessary details and focus on the man problem... sometimes people flood themselves with so much minor details that the can't think no more... a stripped down problem is an easy problem.

also i tend to find out what people wanna get as a result that merely what they wanna do... some times people ask men how to do stuff 'cause simply they are under the impression that this is the only way to do it or this is the most optimum way, so many times they are wrong.

most people can think outside the box... just how far can you go from the box is what counts.

got on of them free tests... scored 135 and here is the report:
Your Intellectual Type is Visual Mathematician. This means you are gifted at spotting patterns ? both in pictures and in numbers. These talents combined with your overall high intelligence make you good at understanding the big picture, which is why people trust your instincts and turn to you for direction ? especially in the workplace. And that's just some of what we know about you from your test results.
got to say that i am sure i got some questions wrong because of the English language... i though of looking up the words in a dictionary or so but that would be cheating, eh?
