Window tracks and stuff for power windows

Post by Aneab »

I have power windows on my nubi, and i have THREE windows that are broken in one way or another...

My two on the driver's side, the spools are tangled i think, and wont roll up or down...

On the back passenger, the track is actually broken, and wont hold the window completely up... so i have it bolted up as far as i could get it...

I was wondering if anyone else knows any alternatives than just getting these windows fixed with OEM parts, or if there is some kind of alternative... All three of these windows ended up tangling their spool of tension wires before... and one of them obviously broke the pulley on the top of the track... I really don't want to just shove new OEM parts in there if they tangle so often...

I'm going to have a cold ride to school tomorrow morning =(

I might buy one of those "universal" power window kits and just hook it up to the stock buttons... anyone know if that would work???
