I know street racing isn't exactly safe, nor really encouraged all that much... but i pulled along side a civic and a focus on a road in Scottsdale tonight... and couldn't resist... My car, of course, all stock and such like i like it... against a civic with at least an exhaust, and a focus with an exhaust and some steal me stickers (product endorsement stickers) on it... Both of them are manual... and of course i'm auto... I'm not sure if either had anything else... cuz i didn't stop and say Hey lemme see ur engine...

Basically it's a windy road, with some curves in it... and wow... I can't believe that i kept up so well... my car stuck to the ground like a white on rice... and took the turns going 70-90mph... I was really amazed... cuz i've never driven my car out that fast on a road that has sweeping but on the verge of being sharp turns like that...

Needless to say i stuck with them... not being pushed over... like at first i thought my lovely automatic would push me aside... but yaeh... i was able to keep a good dead heat with them... This probably doesn't suprise you guys, but it sure as hell did for me...

and thats the end of my story for now i guess...

I've raced all kinds of stuff on the street Civic, SRT-4, Focus, 6-Cyl Carmeros, 6-Cyl Mustangs, and just about anything else with a 4-Cyl. I was retarted once a played with a few V-8 and they all smoked me, Except for a DeVille with the Northstar V-8.

EDIT: I also raced a few trucks with those Turbo Diesels and those are fast they smoked me like nothing. It was kinda sad

that deville still beat you though i bet

, my dad had one of those and they are quick...but the body of a cadillac is heavy, not really a sports car..def. more of a luxury car
