need some tires

im looking for some 175/50/15 for my bug
i believe they are on the smart car from mercedes.
i want them because theyll fit on the stock wheel and have the same clearence as the 135s
so any hook ups from some neighboring countries :cough: canada :cough: would be great cuz i cant find them anywhere

175/50/15 on a Bug?
My Bug and Squareback both take 165R15nly 5" wide.
What kind of wheels do you have?

no im preaty sure since i hear alot of people talking about them and how they fit the stock wheel.
i have 165s came stock so 175 should fit
btw its a super beetle if it makes a difference

Didn't really think there was much of a difference in the beetle & super, but I know the front suspension uses sturts & not the seperate shock frame like mine has.

Thinking about it, I had some 185/60/15's on at one time, so the 175's should fit.

Have you checked around local tire shops or on TireRack.com ?

i know they come on the mercedes smart car and cars like the cappicino(sp?) in japan but i have looked for them everywhere and cant find them
