well the sub sits outside the box, but should i bolt the sub on the inside of the rear wall then glue and nail in place or does it sit on the outer side of the rear wall of the box

What rear wall?

NAIL?!? What on Earth are you doing to do that poor subwoofer?!?

By a reverse installation, do you refer to the subwoofer being installed inverted so the magnet is on the outside and the cone faces inside the box?

rear wall of the box, they will be firing towards back seat so the bit with the circle cut out thats the rear wall, nail, i will be constructing enclosure from wood so yea glue, nails will be involved in the construction process. like on a normal sub u mount it inside the box, however u apply bolts on the outside. is this reversed on the install ie bolts go on the inside with sub on the outside
