Aveo pistons

Post by eljunito »

The Aveo piston is different from the Lanos, although it's the same engine. But it's looks like the one for Nubira. It's deep and it has four half moons of the valves. They are 9.5:1, same as Lanos, but don't know if this piston will make any difference on a Lanos engine. The Lanos engine does not have the half moons.

Feedback please

thats strange... in this pic you see the i.5 and the 1.6 pistons and both got half moons... the only piston with no half moon that i saw was the 1.5 SOHC piston.

I don't have pics for the piston I'm talking about because it's from a car we have at work at the repair shop.

Here is PR, the 1.5 & 1.6 are the same. They don't have half moons. That's why I'm asking. The Aveo piston doesn't have the border as the one you are showing. They are like the Nubira. Like I said they are deep and have 4 half moons.

I'll try to take some photos.
