Ugh I hate Drum Brakes...
BTW, what makes you think you need to change the pads?
Chances are the rear brakes will be fine. I went to change mine out at 60K miles and they still had 75% of the pad left. I cranked up the tension a bit more to make sure they kick in a lil more but drum brakes don't wear as fast as rotors do.
UGH I hate Drum Brakes...
This is why I hope to convert to 4-wheel Discs soon

Go to "how to" at http://www.daewootech.netwoo_sleeper wrote:hey guys i need the lanos rear break assembely steps for chaging the rear pads and installin them , pics would be gr8
you won't stop at all you will lock the rear and spin all over the road... if you used the correct proportional valves for those 12" then they will get so weak power that having 12" is pointless... better focas on the front brakeing system.WooHoo wrote:me too me too!!! me too!! i want 12" rotors in the back as welll!!! think about how fast you would stop with 12" rotors all the way around..

people say they would need changing after some 100,000 Kms but i say it is related to your driving style and how you brake, yet it needs lot of Kms to use up rear brakes.

for the time beeing check the How to on www.daewootech.net and ignore the stuff afout ABS... it is a straight forward task and the pads cost some 60 LE.

Re: lanos rear break assembely
then you rank in first place in Kms done with a lanos and Bosnianlanos will rank second with a tad under 300,000 Kms.woo_sleeper wrote:well bro my cars has over 300,000 km on it and ive change the rear drums and pads 3 times so formmamdouh wrote:another missing How to... i must be lazywoo_sleeper wrote:hey guys i need the lanos rear break assembely steps for chaging the rear pads and installin them , pics would be gr8

i hope the how to on www.daewootec.net is helpfull, it is a rather simple job and i did it myself several times for cleanup and calibrating the brakes and all.
