ebay racing seats: good or bad?

Post by TheGreatAndPowerfulOz »

I found 3 pairs of seats that look decent and are not too expensive.
What I want to know is have any of you seen any of these seats before?
What is the build quality and the quality of the material used?
Are they junk or worth buying?
They work out to be around $250 after shipping and they include the slide rails.

The measurements on the page fit within what you said it needs to be.

are you sure you will fit into those racing seats OZ?? i heard they are too tight and as i understand you are a big, tall guy (you change light bulbs while you are standing on the floor... right??)

no really... make sure you will fit, some people say you won't fit if you are slightly overweight and i am not sure of the "beeing a tall guy" thing.

BTW: the seats looks really cool

they should have quick tilt for people to get in the back. and i'm kinda a big guy not tall though. and i fit fine in them. a little snug but they're supposed to be like that so you don't bounce around everywhere. hell OZ just go to a place with some seats for sale and sit in them to see if you like them or not. and you do get what you pay for but the shipping is the real price on ebay seats so you should be good.

I have sat in some that are very similar to those and I am very comfortable in them. They are snug, but good.

Those seats have the pull handle so they tilt forward to let people into the back seat.

And yes, I can change lightbulbs on the ceiling of my house just by reaching up! LOL

LOL ... no ... it's a regular brick house that was built in 1952.

...

These are really nice, too, but too bad is says NETAMI on them.
If I were to get them, I'd have to take them to an uphulstry shop to have that part of the seats replaced with cloth that has no name sewn in.

I will probably be buying seats in the next 2 or 3 days, so right now, I am just trying to decide which ones. So far, I think the black ones will be the ones I get.

I would have gotten racing seats long time ago if I didn't have these awesome red/black sports leather seats. I love them and do not wish to replace them. :?

that reminds me when this one guy with a lanos sport. i wanted his seats and offered him like $300 for the swap and he said if i threw in my rims then he would. i told him he'd have a better chance of sticking a piece of coal in his ass and shitting out a diamond.
