new spark plugs

Post by kinkyllama »

The guy said the only ones they have that fit my car are autolite double platinum. So i got them... a tool for it and one of those gapper things. He told me to gap it at .044.

Im going to put them in when my engine cools off.

Should i disconnect the battery?

you have to use a special tool to remove the plugs? I thought you could just use a wrench.

you have to buy the socket for sparkplugs. it usualle comes with any socket wrench kit that you buy. as for the gap no clue i bought the bosch platinum 4's that don't need the gap to be set.
