Installing Keyless Entry

Post by scarr »

I'm about to install a keyless entry system on my lanos. Installed the power doors about 9 months ago, finally got around to buying a keyless entry system to work with them. My question is this, do I need to run the wire that makes the parking lights blink out under the hood or is there a place I can hook it up under the dash itself?

Look directly at the switch on the steering column, there is no need to run a wire to your parking lights.

Check each wire with a voltmeter until the parking light registers voltage.

A wiring diagram will help.

Didn't even think of that, will hook it up there and see what comes of it.
