could someone please tell if i take the selector off the top of a 1998 daewoo lanos gear box will it be hard to get it back to gether as it is leaking oil out the top and or have they got o' rings or gasket please

it has a gasket between it and the tranny casing... it it has an oil seal on the rod connecting it to the shift stick linkage
i never did this on my own but a guy on the local car forum did it and he said it is not that hard
