need info about how to put Exhaust Header Wrap

I will put it tomorrow to the down pipe, turbo manifold and waste gate pipe. Any info that I need to know. I think that I must wet them with water first. but Im not sure.

yes you are on the right track it will need to be applied wet. first you will want to wrap everything dry and cut what you need to length giving yourself a few inches to hold on to. it will be a little bit of a pain keeping each strik organized to where they go but once they are cut to length you will want to let the wrap soak in water for a while, like 15 to 20 minutes. this will help the fibers to streach and give you the ability to wrap everything very tight. pretty simple but to do a really good job will take you most of the day to do everything listed.

how much I need to apply to make it work? One layer or two?

one layer is plenty ...unless there is something vital that is close by. like if your down pipe was especially close to your radiator fan or something. just make sure you overlap about half the width of the roll.

I have used this product a few times, sometimes dry application for straight pieces, and wet for bent items. Works brilliantly....If this is the narrow style wrap, give yourself about half the width of overlap. I used mechanic's wire to secure ends...not the high-end solution, but works well. Oh...It irritated the crap out of my hands when wet, you may want to use gloves.
