Hatch lift struts

I had the same problem and spent a few hours with an old lift support from my Lanos a local auto wreckers and found that the 1992 - 1995 Honda Civic uses exactly the same one - same length, same bolts everything.

I don't know if it is exactly the same pressure - but it lifts the door and holds it open perfectly.
