Good news guys, at the scrap yard they have a 1999 daewoo lanos engine 1349cc which has done 33k miles. ?250 for the engine, and a friend of the family will put it in for ?100. Only thing is after i get a bit of money i will have to sand the bits of rust off the bonnet doors n roof and get it repainted n put my body kit on it. My car should be ready to drive by monday :D Apparently takes about 8 hours to switch the engines. Do you guys think slight rust in the paint work is bad? Not noticed any rust underneath just bits in the paint work lil tiny specs like.

there is a solution you can put on the rust to get rid of it.. then just put a clear or a primer over it for the time being.. cost you under $10

Yep im keeping my grill, just for some reason that car in the pics above dont seem to have the grill. I think without the grill the bodykit makes it look like the car has BUCK TEETH!.

But with the grill it looks like da cars smiling :D

But thats just my wondering imagination.

Off to bed speak tomorrow, any questions ill reply asap :)

then it indeed was the oil pump. when an engine is seized, the rings and pistons stop getting lubrication and so they get stuck inside the engine (they won't move anymore).

it will fit... lanoses didn't change their engine mounts setup over the years of production
