Has the lanos camsghaft been confirm to fit into aveo?
I found some performance lanos camshaft with 10.4mm lift and 264 degree duration for both exos and intake.
Its abt 400 pounds for them.
Is it a direct swap or I need to change other things as well such as sensors...etc.
Do the cams comes together or I can use the same cams on aveo?
What other things do I need to take note of? will the valves hit the pistons? I am planning to use high compression pistons with 12.5 compressions (domed). How to know whats the clearence? Whats the stock clearence of the pistons and the valves. The problem is I had shaved some head material and increased the stock 9.5 compression. Not sure how much my mechanic shaved off though.
Is there anyway to check the compression and do some calculation to estimate the clearence? There are 11.0 compression pistons as well (flat). So I might have to use them if there is not sufficient clearence.
