Ya.... I'm going to be flowing 30lbs/min with 18psi.... this T3/T4 turbo might be too big.... I will have to try it out and see.WooHoo wrote:yeah i saw that one but it was way to big... mine says it has ball bearings also

those are the very same injectors on the newer 1.5 Lanoses we got here ('04 & '05) so i guess they got the same flow rates as the old beefey ones.Brian5475E wrote:I think us Aveo guys are gonna run into problems, because the injectors we have are weird looking. really long skinny black things.

You should be able to replace those injectors without too much of a problem.Brian5475E wrote:I think us Aveo guys are gonna run into problems, because the injectors we have are weird looking. really long skinny black things.
I'm going to slap on my Leganza fuel rail onto my Optra so that I can use the older style injectors and change the car to a "return system" since it's currently a "returnless system" which can't handle high horsepower levels.
You might be able to substitute another fuel rail such as the ones used in the Opel 1.6L engines..... they will probably be using Bosch injectors so there are lots of sizes available.

yea , it is going to be too big. the ford tunderbird has a turbo that is .60/.48 on a 2.2 l engine. the same turbo that i am using on my woo. at 3000rpm i get 5psi(could also be because of the wastegate opening early and 2.0l engine) you can get it very cheap in the junkyard and rrebuil it for BB if that is possible. i mught rebuild mine with a 360 trust bearing as BB is too much$$.Erfinder@PrecisionBoost wrote:Ya.... got drift?
ok... got everything today.. they forgot my wastegate down pipe but thats ok because they threw in some oil lines and such and a waste gate adapter wich i needed more then the down pipe
got the wastegate installed and the turbo installed will work on the turbo down pipe tomorrow and the wastegate downpipe
things i need now are.. new radiator and a remote oil filter kit.. lol as far as the turbo sticks out it is still not far enough to clear the oil filter unless i go with a oil filter that is about 1" shorter but i will just put a remote kit on
will get you pictures when my batteries recharge

BASTARDS!!!!!
Apparently Fed-Ex dropped off a 1lb package on my back door in the middle of the day ( apparently the "signature required" box wasn't checked off )
Needless to say.... this was supposed to be my T3/T04 turbo.... and it was not on my steps when I got home from work today

How a turbo with piping could weight 1lb??? I don't know
How could they send a $250 package without "signature required" ??? I don't know
All I know is that SSAUTOCHROME sucks ass!!!
As I'm sure you can tell..... I'm pissed.... is there anyone near CREEDMOOR, NC ????
I need to find someone who will fire bomb their building
Ahhhhh!!!!!! This totally screws up my engine plans !!!!
I'm going to hunt down the Fed-Ex driver and torture him until he tells me where my turbo is at
