A metal gasket "foul" up? It is just a thin sheet of metal, there is nothing that can go wrong, unless it had a major crack or was badly bent or warped. ok got it scaned.. now i can send them to you if you want.. its two scans because the bastard is so big.. just print them out.. cut them out and line them up or... you can aline them on the computer then make a CAD file of it.. give it to your guy who is going to cut it out and all he has to do is put it in the computer and make it do its thing

a gasket fills the inperfections between the metal surfaces by bending against them so when you use the gasket for the first time it kinda "prints" itself to both surfaces and block any leaks.BosnianLanos wrote:A metal gasket "foul" up? by using the gasket for so long and beeing heated and compressed for long time it looses some of its flexability and the "print" effect so when you take it off it won't block leaks as good as it used to do when it was brand new.
