Just installed an intake

i HAVE used pvc on my lanos, all sizes aswell... from 2 inches to 4.5 inches. no matter what size u use, you will not be satisfied. the fuel consumption alone will drive you mad, letalone finding an airfilter to fit it. it may say that the pvc is 3 inches, but thats on the inside.... the outside diameter is the same or larger than that of your standard intake cone. so if you arent really in the mood to sit and spend time literally streching the filter over the pvc (i have done it many times and still it takes me over an hour just to mount it.) you still have to make sure it's the right length, otherwise you have to start all over again.... in my oppinion a regular aluminum intake with insulating wrap is sooooooo much easier and practical.

Not to mention, from what I've read about it, when it gets hot it releases toxic gases which may not be good for seals and such.
