Anyone got any other suggestions on pads since Tom's don't look like the right ones?

I don't know if you will find anyone on this side of the pond making them.... but you never know.
Got any good sources?

Aftermarket Aveo Carries Drilled/Slotted Rotors by R1Concepts for $92 for the set...

http://aftermarketaveo.com/products.php?cat=2849

We also carry Axxis Brake Pads for $35.95 and Posi-Quiet Brake Pads for $38.98...

http://aftermarketaveo.com/products.php?cat=2399

All are great products...

Also, what bushings are you looking to have in poly? If you can source a set of stock for me I can reproduce them for you in a Poly material...

Nice, anything you send me would be reproduced... Depending on difficulty I could probably send you a set for free...

Picked up some Green Stuff pads and some rotors today.
I need to rebuild my calipers and replace the slider bushings as well so hopefully have those ordered monday.

Next is the outer tie rods. ugh

I have a feeling that my rear shoes need replaced as well... I think it'd rather do the rear disc conversion than replace shoes.

Found a set of Tie Rods for $30 shipped. :-D

Front brakes are going on this weekend. Hopefully I'll have the tie rods next week some time and get them on the following weekend.

Then it's on the the rear brakes...

... it never ends...

Geeze, put the new brakes on this weekend. The rotors were really beefy, had to pound the calipers on over the new pads just to get them on.

Never have I had just a tight brake set up. After installing I put the car in drive and it didn't even coast! haha After the break in they're working like a charm but wow were they tight to put on.

Oh and the zinc plated rotors are very nice to look at too.

Just thought I'd report in.

if you have driven on the rotars the zinc is gone on the contact surfaces, but the zinc will prevent rust on the non contace surfaces, glad all went well
