yes it died from oil starvation. i had low oil pressure. So it died from oil starvation.... is it totally dead or is it still driveable ??
no. but i have a feeling that something from the crank let loose. cause i either have a busted block or oil pan.Do you have any idea what is damaged??
yes, it is still possible, but it is mostly on first come, first serve(frist person to pay). trying to be fair. You mentioned that you would consider keeping it around if I were unable to make it down there until spring..... is this still possible??
some of the money. about 1/4 or 1/2 of total payment to hold and balance at pick up.What would you want for a downpayment to take it off the market?? ( some, all, none)
So your in Rhode Island.....are you near Pawtucket?
you are better off sticking a 2.2l in there with the turbo that is already there. more torque and horsepower that the 2.0l at same boost. if i have it long enough to save up some money, i do just that and race it at the tracks(then it would not be for sale anymore). or you can just go with the 2.0l.I wonder how hard it would be to stuff a running 1.6L in there and bring it back
about $800 - 1100 with my mechanic(i am not that advanced yet). $800-900 with the nubi engine and $900-1100 with the legi engine, all with the turbo setup and charge pipe disconected(no injector upgrade and safc not tunned). What would you charge me to drop a 2.0L engine in???
