looking for some parts... OE cat, Lanos, Aveo, Forenza, Nubi

well i dont have an aveo so i cant say for sure. one way to tell is to get under your car, if its like my lanos there will be a cat, flexpipe, some pipe another cat then some pipe a resonator a long streach of pipe then the actuall muffler.

sorry, but i cant do that either. my exhaust has been totally redone. its prettty much a 2' pipe straight back from the flex with the hollowed out cat.

yeh my exhaust totally blows right now. it needs a resonator and that test pipe to connect to the downpipe. it sounds like sheeeiiittttt atm. kind of embarassing to drive LOL.

pretty much just the OE cat, depends on how the system is and what is removeable. I'd like to ba able to make them so that anyone can bolt them up.

This may, or may not help you. I changed the catalytic converter/flex pipe assembly in my 1.5 Lanos (old one crapped out). Interestingly, its from 1.6 16V Aveo... bolted right in place. The only drawback is the fact the assembly is 2" shorter than one used in a SOHC motor. In other words, the assembly would be interchangeable betweeen Lanos 1.5 OHC/ 1.6 ODHC and Aveo.

Oh shit I never sent that gasket thing. I have both lanos and forenza first (secondary) CATs. Want me to ship them to you? Hell I even have one 2.5" forenza test pipe left in stock if you rather me ship it than the CAT itself

thanks Tom, good to know, how was it shorter? the vertical sction or the section that bolts to the rest of the exhaust? I might be able to make one for bothe tyhe 1.5 and 1.6 from the same jig.

hey Danny, I might have to take you up on the offer, I'll see what Mofo's got since I'll be likely neeing some other goods from him. having the test pipe sent would likely be less expensive. we'll have to get some PM's going to workout the details.
