Engine:
1.6 16v stock lanos engine
Custom made CAI/Short Ram
Buffed chrome ish
Transmision
Stock 5 speed manual
Racing clutch set up
Wheels
all stock (thats how i do)
Others
Custom grill
xeonon Conversion kit
Grill neons
Blue blinks and reverse lights
Tinted windows
lowered with BMW springs
premium sound system
Hard wired radar detector
Police strobes in head lights (for shows only!!!!!!)
Custom muffler install
Tach install
custom short shifter
custom cluster
Pics!
This is the engine
Tube in front of filter goes to front of car, thats where I get the CAI/short ram. I like the sound
these are the clusters I have had, now I am back to stock, but with a pure white back light
This is before the new grill, I used the 2 side neons and a tube neon, hard wires to driving light relay
the grill when I was done, the license plate is now down on the lower left corner of the under grill.
Muffler, sounds AWSOME! been pulled over 1 time for it, no ticket yet
strobe controller
windows tinted, 5% in back, 20% in front, legal limit here in washington is 35% so I am a bit illegal on that.
Installed the tach with some help from the forum, don't really use it because I drove the car for over a year without it, shift by sound and feel. oh well. haha. the front of it is now tinted so it is a bit darker.
girl I worked with backed into my car. I dont know how you do that.
Let me know what you think, not back for being only 17 and no help from anyone. =]

the tach? it is super easy, i installed it on my half hour break at work. You have to remove the passenger seat to get to the ECU, I will find what wire it is, but you have to splice it for the tach, then you hook the power, and ground up, and then the light wire to your driving light fuse so it goes on when the lights are turned on, a lot easier then i thought it would be.

i am 100% positive that the E30's rear sprigs are compatible with the woo's rear springs and i was trying to find some E30 front sprigs to cross check with the woo but couldn't find any so far... i thing the E30 rear ones are like the E36 ones as well.sheepdizildawg wrote:didn't do much to the front, the rear I was told was lowered 1.5 inches, not much. Someone that lived near me had the springs. I will post some pics later when I have time to go out and take some pics
Please ask your friend from which BMW did he get them springs

well... on the 1.6 people said that when they put on the cluster with tach it works right away so this means that the signal wire at the cluster socket is actually working (this is not the case with the 1.5 SOHC lanoses) so you can tap into the wire at the cluster rather than the ECUdaewoomofo wrote:i found the how to but its for the same as you did. the green wire with a black strip runs up to the guage cluster. just splice into it there. but lucky me i wont have to splice into mine, i have a oem guage cluster with a tach already in it.
the wire will be the very same wire you tap in at the ECU side... dark green one as i remember and it is either the first or second wire from the left at the right most cluster socket.
