2001 Lanos, Automatic, 84K miles.
At 50 mph, there is occasional bogging, especially on heavy acceleration. Above 60 mph, it smooths out.
Timing Belt was replaced at 63K miles. No maintenance records when I bought the car....overall, a REALLY nice vehicle....
But the sometimes bogging at 50 mph to 60 mph is really annoying. SO
I went to the how-to section and got info on replacing the fuel filter. Replaced the fuel filter, air cleaner, and ran some REALLY high-tech (and high cost injector cleaner) through it.
No change.
I note that my combined MPG has fallen from 31 mpg to about 27 mpg....
Charge spark plugs next?
Any ideas out there?
Performance probs at and above 50 mph

Weird event
Well, really odd....
Havent done anything yet problem is pretty much GONE.
Only thing that has changed is the weather, rain has stopped and the temp is 20 degrees cooler. Humidity is WAY down.
My thought is that this further points to the plug wires, correct?
