Hi guys, some update to my ride after stroking with lanos crankshaft, and boring with opel pistons.
Installed a pair of 285 cams, daewoo lanos crankshaft, opel forged 11.1:1 compression 81mm pistons and forged con rods inside with new crankshaft and con rod bearings. Using ARP rod bolts. Also installed 4Kg flywheel, new clutch cover, clutch pad and cluch bearing. Done port and polish also.
Finished tuning up to 3k rpm on the UNICHIP and idle nicely now. But due to lightweight flywheel and the high duration camshaft, whenever I rev and clutch in fast, rpm drops very rpaidly towards zero and almost wanted to stall. In some cases, if I never change gear fast enough, the engine will stall. Is that normal?

Anyone have any idea, whats the part number for aveo fuel injector? Or Lanos injector? Any performance injector that I can upgrade?

yes this is very normal for such a light weight flywheel. what I suggest is add a second spring to the throttle body that works against the closing action of the stock spring. you don't want to use anything too strong just something that will slow the speed that the throttle closes at.
there is another option and that is raising the idle speed but I like the first option, I'll be doing the same on mine.

Yeah, heard of the spring being used before aswell for something like this. It's almost like the things new cars have, where the engine actually revs slightly and drops off gradually when you lift off, to stop the engine bouncing about too much.
Same principle, different reasons.

Any idea how to advance the timing for the engine? Like what the ceilo driver did to his ride?
Do I need to advance the timing with the overlap valves opening now? Will it improve the performance?

My ride gives some vibration/knocking at 1-1.5krpm. Need to step more to prevent the knocking. Will advancing the timing helps?

Thats be good the only bad thing with a fater response on the trotel is to change gears but if you shift fast be good look my woo trotel respone is a 1.6 sohc:

Yes. I changed the D16 gearbox final drive ratio to 4.2 from the originally 3.9. So now, its less draggy on 2nd and 3rd gear since my gear box is already close ratio gear box originally. Rpm rises more rapidly for each gear change and gear change is faster. Also installed a short shifter linkage for shorter gear change throw.
