My team car's are all motor, modified by me. One of the car is a Nubira, and everybody talks about it because they didn't expect it to be a Daewoo. One of the street racing was with a Honda, another with Mitsubishi GT 2008, Mazda 3, Mitsubishi Technica.
Is not the only way, I race with lot of cars and won totally N/A, now, this days there are bigger engines than mine 2.3 2.4 etc so is harder but not impossible.
Well back to my business.
I will take the engine to the machine shop on Saturday, if everything is ok I will put the over size, low compression pistons and fix the head of the engine, and put all together the next week.
And let see if start....
engine...
Well Im taking the engine apart by my self...put it back togetter will be another story....
first mistake
need to fix it. gosh.....
At the moment here are the part available ...
forged pistons .75mm over OE rods (From GSE_TURBO)
I will need some no ARP bolts (I think let me know about this)
Head gasket(From GSE_TURBO)

Most of the time you will simply crush the pipe if you try bending it.
Personally I would suggest stainless pipes..... then you can cut them and weld them back together to get the correct angle and length.
Aluminum can be welded too.... but it's very hard on pipe with thin wall thickness.

You may also want to consider a smaller but thicker radiator with a single fan to help with positioning the turbo and getting good airflow.
For example, your current radiator is probably only 3/4" thick..... go to one that is 2" thick and it can be half the size and let you have a nice opening for the air intake to the turbo.
If you can find an aftermarket radiator from a honda it will probably work well... but you will need to do a bit of fabrication.
My radiator is small enough that it can go underneath the cross member where the hood latch is.... so it can be moved 2 to 3 inches away from the manifold if I want.
It's an aftermarket radiator from a VW Scirroco... but it might be a bit small for your from... our temperatures rarely get over 100 deg F in the summer.

if ur not doing more than 2x ur stock horsepower upgrading everything would be pointless
other cars r totally stock doing 15+ psi as a daily driver on cast internals u just need the right fuel mods
if u do forged internals and ur car is manual i would go all the way and do 400+hp with a big intercooler and an EMS
take the car to a dyno shop and for 1 hour they will tune ur car for u
