Intake manifold
Anyone know how to remove the plastic intake manifold on the 1.6 aveo motor? i ask as there is alot of junk bolted to it and such and accessibility is a bit tough. any thoughts, suggestions, know how? thanks in advance.
on a very short "how to" you would have to disconnect the rubber tube of the air box, TB cable, coolant lines, vacuum lines, TPS and IAC sockets
also injectors will come in the way so depending on the setup you might have to disconnect the feed and return fuel lines and injector sockeets only or you might need to remove the injectors and rail

It isn't fun or easy. Getting to the lower bolts of the intake manifold is a nightmare because they lie directly underneath the intake runners. Side access from one side is blocked due to the alternator, and side access is very difficult from the other side. However, it is all possible within a day using the correct extensions and angle sockets.
