i was looking to upgrade my exhaust system, i know the engine in my is an astra (mk2? friend told me) and was wondering if the exhaust system would be the same if not would it be hard to make it fit
that's actually a good question, the mk2 and lanos are both built from the "T-body" platform so my first responce would be yes, you'd just have to mod the section from your manifold to where it runs under the motor, perhaps the hangers too.

Garrett
i have always wonder coz mk2 engine did not have a 1.6 16v as far as i know, but the mk3 did.
Mk3 astra is the same underneath as a mk2 astra, concidering they have engines with similar sumps, so the downpipe will be the same, then it's a straight tunnel to the rear axel, which is the same as mk2, then the overhand is similar aswell.
