Installing Head in a Leganza In Need of Torque Values!!!!

Post by rmarkham »

I have a clicker type torque wrench and I have gotten instructions on how to install the head bolts correctly but the instructions I have require an angular torque wrench. I would really appreciate any help on how to install the head correctly as I do not wish to do this again. The car is a 2000 Leganza with 80,000? miles on a 2.2 Dual Overhead Cam.
Thank you in advance for any information you may be able to provide.

Follow service manual.
Get new head bolts & gasket.
Clean the threads of engine block.
You can buy a angular torque adapter http://www.chain-auto-tools.com/engine_ ... MM252l.htm .
I recommand you to read http://www.daewootech.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8328 .
A Leganza partial service manual can be found here: http://www.daewootech.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5085 .

This is for the Nubira 2.0L but I'm pretty sure they are identical for the 2.2L Leganza (since they are the same cylinder head... just the block is a tiny bit different.... deck height is up 1cm )
