Lol, my next is calculus. Most of it's integration :S Integration by parts, explicit, parametrics, trigonometry. There's also a load of differentiation, some partial fractions, binomial expansion [<-lol], trapezium rule [<-Lol] and a few other things i think. Ph aye, differential equations ><

Probably one of the hardest exams i'll ever do lol.

...Apart from the Phsyics. they're harder :(

our calculus is 50/50 differentiation/integration... all the binomial expressions, polynomial division, and partial fractions was taken care of in the algebra & arithmetic exam last week.

the one today was graphs, geometry and trig. i can finally remember the cosine rule!! lol its stuck in my mind forever.

My calculus classes were divided...the first one was differentiation and the second integration...they overlapped some but not much.

Usually overlap when asking to get a tangent then insersection points and then finding an area.

today's exam was a walk in the park matey!!

was on semiconductors and digital electronics... wanted to do all the questions, but we're only marked on 8 of the 11 questions, so no point wasting time.

other than that, my car still struggles to keep up with a vw golf mk2 gti 8v at top end - no surprise really. (altho, this thing does near on 100mph (so ive been told) in 2nd gear if u push it into the red due to high lift cams) lol

High lift cams don't alter your rev range? Doesnt matter what the spec of the cam is, the gearbox still wont let it go past a certain speed without an INSANE amount of rpm, which afaik is controlled by the ecu? [to an extent, obviously there's a point where it wont get any faster due to air and fuel]

Unless it's a 4 speed. Or a 3 speed.... or a 2

what i meant was (in addition to other modifications to the engine) the high lift cams help the engine in the high rev range (as with vtecs)... revs round to bout 8krpm... in a mk2 golf!! and remember, this is a '90 reg veedub, before they really started putting more than is necassary ecu's/controllers & pcm's in cars.

most normal cars' engines (without rev limiters) just lose severe amounts of power after a certain high rpm. but this is no normal car. lol
