Wat engine code for optra?
Where can i find engine code for optra? Like optra 2.0L is U20SED.. for optra 1.8L wats the code?
probably will be U18SED... it is found engraved near the dipstick on the block

the U and T reffer to emissions so as long as both engines are SED then the compression is the same as well as the no. of valves

T = TLEV ( transitional low emission vehicle )
U = ULEV ( Ultra low emission vehicle )
Basicly TLEV was the standard they put in place for a number of years before ULEV became a requirement
So TLEV was better than the typcial "C" engines ( such as C20XE, C20LET, C20LZ, C20NE, C20GET ) but it was still not as good as the current ULEV
