Post by dk1706 »

Bugshield for sale on Ebay @

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... 7920094368.

I'm thinking of getting one. Do they look good? Does anyone have a picture of one? Should I get it, Yes or No?

It is not a foil. It is semi-hard plastic that snaps onto the front and deflects insects and rocks from hitting the front edge of the hood.

Here is a better pic of one on another car:

I cant see the point in that, you are still getting bugs and rocks on the front bumper anyways, so whats the point of just the hood. :?

Plus I dont think it is going to fit right, compared to the cars shown, Daewoo lights and hood are designed different.

They make ones specifically for the Daewoo cars, and yes, they do fit right
The shield also helps deflect air upward over the windshield to help keep some of the insects from splatting as you drive.

People who have used them said they notice a little differance.

It depends if rust is a concern in your area.
Chipped paint in the bumper will never get worse than looking bad, but chipped paint on your hood will lead to rust.

Wondering here, Daewoo lanos Hatch as most of you know the hood goes down almost right to the bumper how the heck do you make a bugshield for that that doesnt look ass ugly., honestly thinking about it makes me think it will look horrible, Also dont duy from that place in CA because they rip people off for shipping, for me in canada they wanted 85.00 to ship plus duty etc etc, someone else told me they could ship it to me for 24.00 and no duty as it would be a "gift" he told me it looked odd tho and to let him know if i was still interested

Dave

Also anyone know if i can get the side window sundeflector covers? id like to get the rear hatch spolier / spoiler cover, and the ones for the door windows and the back hatch windows too, sorta follow a nice smooth accent ya know.
