Affects
Lanos (vin # 158465 to 715060)
Nubira (Vin # 157058 to 778128, 998142 to 998146)
Leganza ( Vin # 105594 to 331911)
The problem is with the Camshaft Position Sensor (CMP). It controls the sync pulse to trigger the fuel injectors.
Its a free fix and if the problem has caused any problems they will reinburse all reasonable claims.
Many of you should be recieving a letter soon in the mail about it as I did.
Any Questions call Daewoo (877) 362-1234 option 6
Hope this helps,
Alex

It is a known problem, now finally a recall about it.daewooluvr wrote:yeah this is a known problem. I've had to replace mine twice.
Fortunately I haven't had the problem, I have only read about it on here. I thought I had this problem with my Lanos but it turned out to be a clogged fuel injector, fixed under warranty... 2 times so far.
I hope they recall the injectors too, the dealer where I had mine fixed says it's common on Daewoo's.
