Engine break-in process?

well my leganza will be done by the end of next week so I'm curious of the best way to break-in the engine to ensure I'll get the most performance and reliabilty.

500 miles of easy driving, serivce, another 500 miles, another service.

By easy driving I mean try and spread the type of driving, dont just do 500 miles of motorway or highway as it's called in the states. Do 500 mile of mixed driving, just dont rev the tits off the engine.

Don't go past 4/4.5k[most]. But dont stay below like 2/3k. Take it really easy for the first like 200 mile then drive 'normally'. By normally i mean under 4.5k lol, and then doo the each 500 mile thing, driving like that.
