Leganza engine longevity
I am the original owner of mine with 86K on it since I bought i back at the end of 1998. I am wondering after almost 10 years if it's worth putting money into to keep it on the road longer. I am wondering how these cars hold up after 100,000 miles. Anybody know how many miles a typical Leganza will go for until it seriously begins to have engine troubles? And what about the future for parts here in the USA?

So it's worth keeping for a while longer....
Sounds like the Leganza engine is just as good as a Honda or Toyota and can get high miles.
What do you all think?

Modern engines are all fairly comparable. Metals are of higher quality, machining processes are better, and many electronics come from only a handful of companies. Change your oil every 3,000 miles, regularly inspect your fluids, and be on top of changing your timing belt.
I have a Lanos with 208,000 miles that has hydrolocked, and as a result of that hydrolocking the headgasket blew. Now it runs like a top.
You can easily get as much out of your Leganza.
