How can I wire the fogs to the headlights?

Post by kinkyllama »

I want the foglights to turn on with the headlight switch, mostly because I don't want to mount another switch in the cabin and more junk in my engine bay (like the relay).

How can I go about doing this? I'm not worried about having extra watts on the headlights relay and whatnot cause I was running 100watt headlight bulbs and now both my fogs and headlights are HIDs so they're only 35watts each.

Thanks,
Danny

It would probably be safer to connect a relay to the headlamp wires, and run the fogs direct to the battery through the relay.

Safer yeah but, not everyone can make relays :b

You could just use a heavier grade of wire. Not too heavy mind you.
