i agree that mild steel is the way to go. its cheaper and easier to work with, i believe its also lighter. that one you posted is mild steel. even high grade stainless can rust, just not under normal conditions (trust me), but from that pic you showed id say 99% sertain its mild. and get what ever header you get ceramic coated, its not that expencive and its great.

That header I posted, is probably a bust. The owner of the header is acting way to fishy. I just dont feel comfortable sending money to him.

So I'm talking to gse_turbo about getting a header made.

That is the style we are looking at being built, an Edelbrock 4-2-1 header. ($350-$450)

I feel much more comfortable buying and getting something made from him.

Where was that at?

You live in the detroit area, its only like 3 hours away. I could drive it there.... Or ship it, Whatever is cheaper.

But yeah I was looking for inside and out.

Steve:
4 cylinder headers are generally about $50.00 for shorty style, and $125.00 for a long tube style in either color.
We'll be back in the shop on the 2nd of January and you're more then welcome to stop by and check out some of our work.
Thanks
Bill Walker

By "either color," he was referring to "High Luster Silver" (1600 degrees) and "Matte Black" (2000 degrees).

I think I'll get the High Luster Silver... they look sexy.

I emailed them aggain asking if the colors start to dull out, or anything of that nature.

He said both colors start to dull out a bit after a few years. And there isnt any way to avoid that. (I guess thats reasonable to assume)

What color Should I go with?
Black, or (near) chrome?

+1 and black heat wrap :D

then again matte silver would look really good. it wouldn't fade and should cost less as well
